Though COVID-19 is generally considered to be in an endemic stage, the spread of the virus has remained high in the Treasure Valley. Given the delay between incubation and the onset of symptoms, folks may unknowingly contribute to the spread of the virus before they even know they’re sick. Here are some gentle reminders:
- If you have symptoms of a cold, flu, or other respiratory illness, please stay home and worship via livestream! This is for your own health and healing, as well as the wellbeing of others — particularly immunocompromised members and friends.
- The use of masks is not mandatory, but if you choose to wear one you will still be warmly welcomed! (Adult and child-sized masks are available in the narthex).
- To reduce the spread of the virus, if someone informs you that you’ve been exposed to COVID-19, please wear a high quality face mask and distance yourself from others while at the church, in accordance with current CDC guidelines and the community values of our congregation.
- If you have contracted COVID-19 and believe you have been in close contact with others (e.g., pewmates, coffee-hour conversation, choir rehearsal) you are encouraged to reach out to those individuals so they can take precautions and consider testing.
