Join us for a very special community Trunk or Treat ON Halloween! Southminster will be hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on
Saturday, Oct. 31 from 2-4. Everyone from the surrounding communities are invited to join us for the fun.
Attention, Southminster Members: trunks should be set up and ready by 1:30. Sign up in the Narthex/Lobby to bring your trunk, as well as to make donations of treats. Contact the church office or a member of the PJO Committee for more info.
Save the Date! Southminster Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 4th in the Grove at 11:00. Bring your kids, grandkids, or the neighbors’ kids!
Members & Friends of Southminster are encouraged to drop off donations of filled eggs or small, individually wrapped candy to help us prepare for this great community event. (We can also always use volunteers to help hide the eggs starting at 10:00AM on the 4th).
Hearts & Hands is a creative, intergenerational gathering where kids and older adults play, craft, and connect—giving parents/guardians a chance for a quiet morning, a breakfast date, or a well-earned break.
The craft is a guided activity… no artistic experience necessary!

Get ready for some spooktacular fun! Join us for our annual Trunk-or-Treat on October 25th from 6-8 PM in the church parking lot. It’s going to be a night full of creative trunks, candy galore, and lots of laughter!
We can’t wait to see you there—costumes encouraged, fun guaranteed!
(This year, several congregations of the Boise Bench have banded together for a “Trunk or Treat Crawl.” Southminster is the final stop of the tour.)

Want to join the fun by decorating your trunk? Sign-ups are available in the Narthex, or you can email the church office to get on the list. Not feeling trunk-y but still want to contribute? Candy donations are NEEDED and WELCOME—whether you’re decorating a trunk or just want to help fill the candy bowls!
All leftover candy will be donated to the teachers at Grace Jordan Elementary for their prize boxes. Let’s make this a sweet night for everyone!
Bring a picnic dinner, a blanket, lawn chairs—whatever helps you feel at home—and join Southminster Presbyterian Church for a celebration of community where all kinds of awesome are welcome and affirmed.
This is a space of joy, connection, and belonging for people of every identity and orientation.
We’ll have music, lawn games, and plenty of room to just be yourself. Got a favorite game? Bring it along and join the fun! All ages of humans and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please leave alcoholic beverages at home.
