Southminster responds to God’s call to be peacemakers, as we serve alongside our mission partners in sharing God’s inclusive love in our community, nation, and world. We are committed to the work of gender and racial justice, ending hunger and poverty, and promoting peace.
Our congregation has longstanding relationships with organizations such as Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Mission Agency, and the Covenant Network of Presbyterians. Southminster is also proud to be a Matthew 25 congregation of the PC(USA), covenanting to do our part in the work of (1) eradicating systemic poverty; (2) dismantling structural racism; and (3) building congregational vitality.
