The purpose of Presbyterian Women is to:
- Nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
- Support the mission of the church worldwide
- Work for justice and peace
- Build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Presbyterian Women of Southminster (PWS) offers a variety of opportunities for women to share their faith, talents, and passions with others. All members and friends of Southminster are invited and encouraged to participate.
In addition to regular large-group gatherings throughout the year, we have four small groups (called “Circles”) who meet for prayer, study, fellowship, and mission.
PWS Circle Meetings
We have four “Circles” to choose from, based on your schedule and location. Circles meet monthly from September through May.
- Merry Martha Circle – 3rd Mondays at 8:00am via Zoom
- Ruth Circle – 3rd Wednesdays at 9:30am in Jean Moore Lounge (SPC)
- Naomi Circle – 3rd Wednesdays at 10:00am, Garden Plaza at Valley View (1130 N. Allumbaugh)
- Rachel Circle – 3rd Wednesdays at 1:00pm in Jean Moore Lounge (SPC)

Presbyterian Women of Southminster is a separately incorporated non-profit organization registered in the State of Idaho. PWS is an independent mission partner of the Southminster Presbyterian Church congregation.
