Get ready for some spooktacular fun! Join us for our annual Trunk-or-Treat on October 26th from 6-8 PM in the church parking lot. It’s going to be a night full of creative trunks, candy galore, and lots of laughter!
Want to join the fun by decorating your trunk? Sign-ups are available in the Narthex, or you can email the church office to get on the list. Not feeling trunk-y but still want to con- tribute? Candy donations are NEEDED and WELCOME—whether you’re decorating a trunk or just want to help fill the candy bowls!
All leftover candy will be donated to the teachers at Grace Jordan Elementary for their prize boxes. Let’s make this a sweet night for everyone!
We can’t wait to see you there—costumes encouraged, fun guaranteed!
Southminster will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 starting at 11:00am in The Grove. All kids both young and old are invited, so invite friends and neighbors to join in the fun! This year, the Easter Bunny will also be hopping by for a visit and some photos.
Members and Friends of Southminster: we will need some helpers to hide eggs Saturday morning around 10:00am. We would appreciate any congregational donations of small wrapped Easter candies, stickers, or tiny toys that would fit into plastic Easter eggs. Pre-stuffed eggs are also fine. Donations can be left on the countertop in the back of the Narthex. We will stuff eggs on Palm Sunday, March 24, during coffee hour. The Presbyterian Women of Southminster Presbyterian Church warmly welcome the community to our annual Holiday Bazaar! We are super excited for the upcoming bazaar, which will feature creative decorations, handmade items, home baked goods, holiday decor, gifts, jewelry, houseplants, pictures, collectibles, pottery, theme baskets, and so much more.
Friday October 27 and Saturday October 28 from 9:00am to 2:00pm
Join us for fun, food, and fellowship as we celebrate with our ever-popular annual Community Trunk or Treat. There will be plenty of trunks, plenty of treats, plus Food Trucks! Come one, come all!
Trunks will be available from 7:00pm until about 8:15pm (or whenever the treats run out!)
Are you a member of Southminster? Consider donating your trunk! Or, drop off some bags of candy or other individually-wrapped Halloween treats in the Halloween box found in the Narthex/lobby. Trunks must be set up by 6:30pm the evening of the event. (And yes… there will be prizes!)
