All are welcome to attend the next SAGES Lunch & Learn gathering on Thursday January 15, 2026. Lunch begins at 11:30am, with a program to follow. Pastor TJ will be sharing a high-level overview of The Promise and Perils of Artificial Intelligence (AI), blending ethical conversation, practical tips, and a few live demonstrations.

If you plan to come for lunch, please RSVP to the church office to ensure there’s enough food for all. A suggested donation of $10/person is requested for the meal.

Y’all come for our Holy Hoedown—Saturday, November 9! We’ll gather for Sabbath Worship at 5:00pm (with a hoedown theme!), then head straight into a church-wide dinner, dancing, and games at 6:00pm.

The meal will be provided, and everyone’s invited to bring a dessert to share. Want a ride to and from church that night? Contact the church office.

Whether you’re a seasoned two-stepper or a first-time line dancer, there’s a place for you on the floor. God has brought us into a beloved community, and this hoedown is a fun way to celebrate that good and gracious gift.

Pastor TJ will be hosting a “Discover Southminster” gathering on Monday September 29 at 7:00pm in the narthex. Those who have been visiting Southminster or who are thinking about joining our membership will find this to be a great opportunity to explore our questions and callings together.
