Each year the four circles of PWS gather monthly from September through May to study and share thoughts about the lessons in the current years Horizon Bible study book. We have 1, 2 and even 4 new unused copies left over from the
past few years which we would love to have put to good use. Interested in doing a nine lesson study yourself or with a friend, neighbor, sister or group of just four? Example of topics include Who is Jesus?, Cloud of Witnesses, What My
Grandmothers Taught me, Celebrating Sabbath and much more. Contact Ruth Ann Alm for free available books or to inquire about joining a circle this fall.
PWS Mission Gifts
First of all a huge thank you to the women of Presbyterian Women of Southminster who have given money, time, and talent to make our mission projects a reality. These agencies depend on our support. Plus we could not raise money from a Bazaar if it weren’t for our church community and neighbors who provide patronage at our fall event. And we’re planning on having one again this fall. Stay tuned for more details on that later.
The monies that PW has raised through donations and the Harvest Bazaar last fall have been distributed. Here is where our money has gone:

PWS Thoughts for April
Spring is coming and our awareness of the life that God has given us is awakened and made resonate within us
at Easter. May this time of year make us aware of our purpose and joy in being children of God.
Another joy this month is our having Rev. TJ as the Gathering’s speaker. We will welcome his insight and words to us. April is also the month at Gathering that we dedicate the Least Coin. Our coins, a symbol of our prayers, join many others’ coins from all parts of the world to support projects that help women and children achieve a better life.
The Gathering in May will be fun because we will take a field trip to the Basque Museum and have lunch in the area.
Be kind and keep joy in your heart.

PWS Thoughts for February
The February Gathering on the 1st will start at 11:00am in the Cana room. The program guest will be Phillip Thompson, talking about Black History in Idaho and Boise. The Dedication of Cents-ability (2 cents for Hunger) will be collected. The rotation of preparation is the following: SET UP — Naomi, FOOD — Ruth and Rachel, CLEAN UP — Mary/Martha.
In March Sean Rogers will be our guest speaker. We all enjoy being together and sharing, so come, be a part of God’s love for us. Be kind. Call someone. Have a great month. Happy Valentines Day!
