The Boise community is invited to join us for an evening of fun, as our popular neighborhood Trunk or Treat returns to Southminster! There will be plenty of decorated trunks with loads of candy, as well as two food trucks for dinner.

You are invited to come shop our 2022 Southminster Presbyterian Women’s Holiday Bazaar! We are very excited to once again host a Holiday Bazaar featuring creative decorations, handmade items, home baked goods, holiday decor, jewelry, houseplants, pictures, collectibles, pottery, theme baskets, and so much more. We have covered boxes for your gift items too!

Southminster has an active group of men who meet twice monthly for lunch and fellowship together. The group orders off each restaurant’s menu and typically pays for their own meals. Questions? Contact the church office for more information.

This month, our Sabbath weekend falls on the same weekend as Boise Pride. To celebrate with our LGBTQIA+ members and friends, our Sabbath Worship service for September will proclaim inclusive love for the world as we celebrate our diversity together.
Join us in the sanctuary at 5:00pm on Saturday evening for an uplifting PRIDE worship. Bonus: since we’ll have no worship on Sunday morning, it’s even easier to join our congregation’s group in the Pride Parade!

The four special offerings of the PC(USA) draw Presbyterians from all over the nation and world together for a common purpose and mission. (Did you know: Southminster has long been a “4 for 4” congregation, meaning our congregation participates in all four denominational offerings!) The annual “Season of Peace” is held each September, culminating with the Peace & Global Witness Offering collected on World Communion Sunday, October 2. This offering provides resources for nurturing reconciliation locally and globally. To participate, look for a specially-marked offering envelope on World Communion Sunday.
