With the weather starting to cool down and school starting back up it seems like a wonderful time to gather in fellowship. The Connections Committee would like to invite everyone to participate in our Fall Potluck in the Grove on Sunday September 22nd, following the worship service. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the Narthex for what you would like to bring. Please join us and dazzle us with your cooking expertise. Should the weather not cooperate we will move the potluck inside, otherwise we have the tables in the Grove or you can bring your own if you would like. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to anyone on the Connections Committee including; Carla Middleton, Carol Towne, Juno Von Ocker, or Kathryn Nicholas.
Pride Worship – Sept 14 at 5:00pm
This month, our Sabbath weekend falls on the same weekend as Boise Pride. To celebrate with our LGBTQIA+ members and friends, our Sabbath Worship service for September will proclaim inclusive love for the world as we celebrate our diversity together.
Join us in the sanctuary at 5:00pm on Saturday evening for an uplifting PRIDE worship. Bonus: since we’ll have no worship on Sunday morning, it’s even easier to join our congregation’s group in the Pride Parade!
Come. Worship. Be Loved.
SAGES Lunch Gathering – Sept 19
The first SAGES Lunch & Learn gathering will be Thursday September 19, with lunch at 11:30am and a program to follow. A representative from AARP will be with us to present the latest info on fraud and scams. The cost for the meal will be $10/ each. To ensure we have enough food, please RSVP to Roger & Darleen Brown, Kathryn Nicholas, Rex Reagan, or contact the church office.

- October – All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M Johnson [one of the most often banned books of the 2020s!]
