Camp Sawtooth Summer Camps

Parents & Grandparents—are you looking for some summer relief? Camp Sawtooth is ready to welcome children and youth for a week of fun. They will have a wonderful time making new friends, learning about God’s love, and enjoying the beauty of the mountains, while you will have some much needed rest. Holy Humor Worship – 4/13 at 5:00pm

Are you ready for some corny jokes that will make your eyes roll? By popular request, we will again worship in the style of “Holy Humor” for our April Sabbath service, Saturday April 13. Our Saturday Night Alive worship service will include upbeat music, lots of laughter, and joyful community — all in celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Plan to come dressed in your brightest colors and/or a silly costume. You’re encouraged to bring a joke or two in case you’re asked to make the congregation laugh.

Discover Southminster – April 9 at 7:00pm

Pastor TJ will be hosting a “Discover Southminster” gathering on Tuesday April 9 at 7:00pm in the narthex. Those who have been visiting Southminster or who are thinking about joining our membership will find this to be a great opportunity to explore our questions and callings together.

Holy Week Schedule

You are warmly invited to join us as we worship together this Holy Week.

Palm Sunday (Sunday March 24) — Worship at 9:30am, with Coffee Hour following. We’ll also have an opportunity to stuff Easter Eggs as we prepare for the upcoming Community Easter Egg Hunt!

Maundy Thursday (Thursday March 28) — Worship at First Presbyterian Church of Boise at 7:00pm, with Rev. TJ Remaley preaching. We are partnering with our friends at FPC Boise for this service.

Good Friday (Friday March 29) — Worship at Southminster at 7:00pm, with Rev. Dr. Andrew Kukla preaching. Our friends from FPC Boise will be partnering with us for this service.

Easter Sunday (Sunday March 31) — Easter morning worship service at 9:30am!

Easter Egg Hunt – 3/30 11:00am

Southminster will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 starting at 11:00am in The Grove. All kids both young and old are invited, so invite friends and neighbors to join in the fun! This year, the Easter Bunny will also be hopping by for a visit and some photos.

Members and Friends of Southminster: we will need some helpers to hide eggs Saturday morning around 10:00am. We would appreciate any congregational donations of small wrapped Easter candies, stickers, or tiny toys that would fit into plastic Easter eggs. Pre-stuffed eggs are also fine. Donations can be left on the countertop in the back of the Narthex. We will stuff eggs on Palm Sunday, March 24, during coffee hour. Sabbath Weekends

Worship on the Second Saturday of the month is at 5:00pm. The next morning is a day of Sabbath rest, with no worship or activities.

Our Denomination

We are an active congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and a member of the Snake River Presbytery.
